India Beats South Africa by 15 Runs, Secures Second Win in Tri-Series

A Tri-Series is currently being played between the women's cricket teams of India, Sri Lanka, and South Africa. Today, India and South Africa (IND W vs SA W) faced each other. Team India won the match by 15 runs. This is Team India’s second consecutive win in the series, while hosts Sri Lanka and South Africa have both lost their opening matches.

In the match, Team India batted first. In their allotted 50 overs, India scored 276 runs. Thanks to Pratika Rawal’s 78, Smriti Mandhana’s 36, and captain Harmanpreet Kaur’s 41-run innings, India set a target of 277 runs for South Africa in 50 overs.

South Africa put up a good fight. Opener Tazmin Brits played a brilliant knock of 109 runs. However, apart from Tazmin, no other batter could stand against the Indian bowlers. As a result, the team was all out for 261 runs, and Team India won the match by 15 runs.

In this tri-series, each team will play two matches against the other two teams. India has already played one match each against Sri Lanka and South Africa. The next match in the series will be between hosts Sri Lanka and South Africa.
