IND vs OMN Match Highlights: India Beat Oman by 21 Runs to Stay Unbeaten

India continue their unbeaten run in the Asia Cup T20 with a 21-run victory against Oman at Abu Dhabi. Winning the toss, India elected to bat first and reshuffled the entire order. Sanju Samson top scored with 56 and Abhishek Sharma scored a brisk 38 off 15 balls at the top to help India register 188/8 with Faisal Shah (2/23) and Jiten Ramanandi (2/33) performing well with the ball.
India didn't get the start with the ball as they wanted. Oman captain Jatinder Singh (32 off 33) and Aamir Kaleem provided a good start scoring 44 runs in the powerplay and took the score to 56 before the stand was broken by Kuldeep Yadav in the 9th over.

Kaleem was joined by Hammad Mirza and the pair frustrated the Indian bowlers with a 93 run stand for the 2nd wicket. Kaleem moved to his 50 off 38 balls and was dismissed at 64 off 46 balls trying to up the ante in the 18th over. Mirza got to his 50 in 30 balls but was dismissed soon after by Hardik Pandya in the penultimate over. Jiten Ramnandi's three boundaries in the final over were not enough for the inexperienced Oman side to get over the line.
Axar Patel could bowl only one over and walked off the field after he landed badly on his head while fielding. Hardik finished well with 1/26, Kuldeep bowled 3 overs and picked 1/23, Harshit Rana bowled with good pace and picked up 1/25 and Arshdeep Singh in the final over of the match became the first Indian men's player to pick up 100 T20I wickets and sealed the victory for the side.
