ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 Tickets: How to Book & Prices

ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 Tickets: How to Book & PricesThe 2025 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup is co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka (Sept 30 – Nov 2, 2025). Fans can buy tickets through the official ticketing website (tickets.cricketworldcup.com) as announced by the ICC. The ICC emphasizes “record low pricing” to attract crowds.

Official Ticket Platforms

ICC official site: The tournament’s website and ICC social channels link to the ticket portal. For example, the ICC announced a Google Pay pre-sale via tickets.cricketworldcup.com.

Tickets.cricketworldcup.com: This is the main booking site. During the pre-sale (Sept 4–8, 2025) it was accessible via Google Pay. From Sept 9 onward, all fans (local or international) can buy tickets there.

Local partners: In India, tickets are sold through BookMyShow’s platform (a partner of the ICC portal). (For example, the ICC link redirects to a BookMyShow page for India.) In Sri Lanka, tickets are also managed through this official system. Always use the official site or its links to avoid scams.

How to Book Tickets (Step-by-Step)

  1. Visit the official ticket site: Go to tickets.cricketworldcup.com (or follow the link from the ICC Women’s World Cup site).

  2. Register / log in: Create an account or sign in. (During the Google Pay pre-sale, you needed Google Pay; in general sales you can use any accepted payment.)

  3. Select your match: On the site, choose the country (India or Sri Lanka) and the specific venue & date you want. For example, pick “India” to see all matches in Indian cities or “Sri Lanka” for Colombo games.

  4. Choose seats: Each match page will show seating categories/prices. Select the number of tickets you want in your preferred price category. (Lower categories correspond to cheaper seats.)

  5. Checkout: Enter your payment details. Initially there was an option to pay with Google Pay. later you can use UPI, credit/debit cards or other supported methods.

  6. Confirmation: After payment, you will receive an e-ticket confirmation by email (or in your BookMyShow account). Make sure to save this e-ticket or have it on your phone for entry.

  7. Show ID/Ticket at stadium: When you arrive at the venue, present your e-ticket (printed or on-screen) at the gate. You may also need a photo ID.

Travel Tips for International Visitors

  • Visas: Check visa requirements well in advance. Many nationalities can apply for online tourist e-Visas.

  • India: Visitors can apply for an Indian e-Tourist Visa through the official portal (https://indianvisaonline.gov.in). You can apply up to 120 days before travel. Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months.

  • Sri Lanka: Tourists should apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) via Sri Lanka’s official site (https://www.eta.gov.lk). Almost all visitors need an ETA, which you can get online before arrival.

  • Flights: Book flights connecting host cities early. Since matches are in both India and Sri Lanka, plan your itinerary accordingly (e.g. fly into India for group matches, then travel to Colombo for later games, or vice versa). There are many domestic flights within India (e.g. to Indore, Guwahati, Vizag, Mumbai) and international flights to Colombo.

  • Accommodation: Reserve hotels or guesthouses near the venues or city centers. For example:

  • Guwahati – stay near Barsapara Stadium or central Guwahati.

  • Indore – hotels near Holkar Stadium (for example, around the Race Course area).

  • Navi Mumbai – stay in Airoli or nearby Vashi where DY Patil Stadium is located.

  • Visakhapatnam – book near the city (Beach Road area) or near stadium (Arilova locality).

  • Colombo – hotels in Colombo city (Bambalapitiya / Kollupitiya) are convenient for R. Premadasa Stadium.

  • Use reliable booking sites or tourism portals, and book as early as possible as hotels fill up during World Cup.

  • Local transport: In Indian host cities, you can use app cabs (Uber/Ola), or pre-paid taxis from airports/stations. In Colombo, tuk-tuks and ride-hail apps are common. Plan extra travel time on match days (stadiums can be busy).

  • Other tips: Carry a power adapter for charging, stay hydrated (September–November can still be warm), and keep copies of your tickets and IDs. Follow local health and safety guidelines.
