ICC to Disclose Champions Trophy 2025 Schedule This Week, Including India vs Pakistan Clash Details

The Champions Trophy 2025, scheduled to be hosted in Pakistan, will now be played behind a hybrid model. Pakistan Cricket Board and the ICC have agreed to work on the hybrid model for tournaments hosted either by Pakistan or India, until 2027, wherein women's cricket between two rivals would be included.
Under this agreement, India and Pakistan will play their ICC matches at a neutral venue. According to sources close to PTI, India's matches will be held in Dubai. If India qualifies for the semifinals, those games will take place at a neutral venue. However, Lahore will be kept as a backup option for any potential clashes.
Under the deal for Champions Trophy 2025, no extra amount of money would be provided to the PCB in the form of compensation or revenue share for playing the matches at a neutral venue. The ICC refused the PCB's suggestion of tri-series involving India.
The PCB is going back to its government to approve it, and the arrangements are going to be confirmed to the ICC by December 7. The schedule of the event will also be announced at the end of this week.
Initially, the PCB had planned to begin the Champions Trophy on February 19 with Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi as host cities. However, after the BCCI refused to send Team India to Pakistan over safety concerns, things took a different turn. As tensions continue between the PCB and BCCI, the ICC has not released the schedule for the big event yet.
