The Duleep Trophy 2025 will be played during a short break in India’s international schedule. With the national team getting ready for the Asia Cup and the Test series against West Indies, the domestic red-ball tournament kicks off on August 28. In the opening matches, North Zone will take on East Zone, while Central Zone will play against NorthEast Zone. West Zone and South Zone, being the stronger teams with better records, will directly start from the semi-finals. All the matches will be held at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.

The new season of the Duleep Trophy is extra important this time.
