Delhi Traffic Police Issues Advisory for CSK vs RR Match at Arun Jaitley Stadium on May 20

The Delhi Traffic Police has issued a detailed traffic advisory in view of the high-profile T20 clash between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals scheduled for May 20, 2025, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium (Feroz Shah Kotla Ground). The match, set to begin at 7:00 PM and conclude around 11:30 PM, is expected to cause significant congestion in and around the stadium area.

Traffic Diversions and Restrictions

To ensure public safety and smooth movement, key roads around the stadium will face traffic restrictions and diversions from 5:30 PM to midnight. Heavy vehicles and buses will not be permitted on:

➤ Daryaganj to Bahadurshah Zafar Marg

➤ Guru Nanak Chowk to Asaf Ali Road

Avoid These Roads:

➤ JLN Marg (Rajghat to Kamla Market Roundabout – both sides)

➤ Asaf Ali Road (Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate)

➤ Bahadurshah Zafar Marg (Delhi Gate to Ramcharan Aggarwal Chowk – both sides)

Entry Points for Stadium Visitors

➤ Gates 1 to 8: Access from Bahadurshah Zafar Marg (Southern side)

➤ Gates 10 to 15: Entry via JLN Marg, near Ambedkar Stadium Bus Terminal (Eastern side)

➤ Gates 16 to 18: Entry via Bahadurshah Zafar Marg near the petrol pump (Western side)

Free Park & Ride Zones:

➤ Rajghat Power House Road

➤ Velodrome Road

Shuttle services will ferry spectators from these lots to the stadium.

Only vehicles with valid parking labels displaying vehicle number and contact details will be allowed in stadium vicinity.

No General Parking

Vehicles are prohibited on Bahadurshah Zafar Marg, JLN Marg, and Ring Road (Rajghat to I.P. Flyover). Unauthorized vehicles will be towed and fined.
