Complete Team-wise list of Pakistan players picked for the LPL 2026

Six Pakistan players will be part of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) this year as the Player Draft comes to an end. Out of these, five players were picked during the draft while one, Sahibzada Farhan, will join the league as a pre-draft signing. 

Six out of 102 players stay

Earlier, a total of 102 Pakistan players registered for the draft, which was the most among all full-member nations.

This list was then trimmed to only 39 players, from which Saim Ayub, Usman Khan, and Sufiyan Muqeem withdrew ahead of the draft.

Among eight players shortlisted in the Platinum Category, only Mohammad Nawaz found a home as Galle Gallants signed him as their overseas pick in the category. Galle also signed young pacer Akif Javed, who had registered in the Gold category.

Wasim, Dahani, and Haris in Gold

Mohammad Wasim Jr. and Shahnawaz Dahani are the other players in the category who were picked during the draft. Wasim will represent Dambulla Sixers, where he will join fellow Pakistan player Sahibzada. Dahani, who previously represented the Dambulla Auras in LPL 2023, has been picked by the Colombo Kaps this year.

Like Dahani, Mohammad Haris has also been roped in by Colombo Kaps. However, he had to endure relegation from the Gold category to the Classic category to get selected.
