Bhuvneshwar Kumar Set to Strengthen RCB's Bowling Attack Against CSK

Bhuvneshwar Kumar Set to Strengthen RCB's Bowling Attack Against CSKRoyal Challengers Bengaluru will take on Chennai Super Kings in the eighth match of this IPL season on Friday. The exciting game will be held at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Rajat Patidar led RCB to a great start in IPL 2025, beating KKR by seven wickets in the opening match. Now, as they prepare to take on CSK in an exciting clash, let's take a look at the possible playing XI for this game.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar Set to Return Against CSK

Experienced fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar missed the first match because of a minor injury. But now he has recovered and is ready to play against CSK.

According to RCB's latest social media update, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is likely to play the crucial match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. If he returns, RCB might have to leave out either Yash Dayal or Rasikh Salam from the playing XI.

Dayal and Rasikh both took one wicket each against KKR. However, Dayal was more economical, giving away only 25 runs, while Rasikh conceded 35. Dayal is RCB's only left-arm pacer and the only uncapped player they decided to retain before the mega auction. So, if RCB has to choose between the two, they might lean towards Dayal.
