BCCI Releases Behind The Scenes Video after Ashwin Retirement Announcement, Left Fans Emotional

After a sudden retirement announcement by one of India's best spinners, Ravi Chandran Ashwin, appreciation and best wishes come from the worldwide cricket fraternity.
In the row, the BCCI released a video that left the fans emotional after watching the heartfelt video. The whole journey from press conference announcement to receiving best wishes from different journalists can be seen in the video. In the video, it was also seen that Australia's premier spinner Nathan Lyon and captain Pat Cummins came to Ashwin after the press conference and gifted a signed Jersey to him on his retirement. The jersey was signed by all the Australian players. Ashwin also mentioned that he and Nathan Lyon are chatting about bowling in the morning.
Emotions peaked when Ashwin went back to the dressing room and started hugging every player on the team. Everyone was giving him farewell with wet eyes. Ashwin also cut his farewell cake and then gave his last speech as an Indian cricketer in the dressing room.
“I don't know how to go about this. Honestly, I am in its easier to speak in a team huddle, but yeah, even though I am not exhibiting it it's truly a very emotional moment for me. It's just like it's the 2011-12 tour when I came here for the first time.”
“I saw everybody transition Rahul bhai left, Sachin Bhai left trust me, guys, everybody's times comes, and today was to truly my time. I enjoyed it, I enjoyed it thoroughly did some great relationships and friendships over the last few years, and I am leaving behind some my few teammates who I’ve been playing with dearly.”
“I'll be taking a flight back home, but I will be tuned in to watch how will you guys go in Melbourne, and the cricket, the cricketer in me as an Indian cricketer as an international cricketer might have come to an end.”
“But the cricket nut in me will never come to an end, so I will look forward to each one of your performances and all the very best if you all guys need anything, I am just a call away. Thank you so much.”
