Ban vs Pak Test series: Schedule, Venues, Squads & Head-to-Head
Following the conclusion of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Pakistan are making a quick shift to the red-ball format as they gear up for a two-match Test series against Bangladesh. The series, set to begin on May 8, will be Pakistan’s first Test assignment since the South Africa tour in October 2025.
Winning one and losing as many against South Africa, Pakistan are currently in fifth place on the World Test Championship (WTC) table. Winning this series would be crucial for the visitors to keep hopes alive for their first WTC final. Bangladesh, on the other hand, are yet to win a match in this WTC cycle, as they lost one and drew one in the two games they have played so far.
Head-to-Head Record:
Bangladesh won their first Test series against Pakistan when they whitewashed the hosts 2-0 in 2024. Those wins are the only times Pakistan have lost in a Test match versus Bangladesh. In total, the two teams have played 15 red-ball games, with Pakistan winning 12 while one game was drawn.
