Pak W vs Zim W 2nd ODI: Head-to-Head, Timings, Probable Playing XI, and Where to Watch

Pak W vs Zim W 2nd ODI: Head-to-Head, Timings, Probable Playing XI, and Where to WatchPakistan Women posted the highest total in a WODI at National Stadium Karachi as they scored 330 runs against Zimbabwe Women in the first ODI.

In response, the visitors collapsed for a meagre score in front of Pakistan’s bowlers' brilliance. This is Pakistan’s second win in the ongoing Women’s ODI Championship, having previously won against South Africa in March earlier this year. Zimbabwe, however, are still winless, and could this series give them a chance to open their accounts?

Players to watch out for

Pakistan's top-order batters have been in pristine form of late. Sadaf Shamas scored her second ninety-plus score in two games, scoring 97 against South Africa in March. Similarly, Sidra Amin has been averaging 46 in the four games she has played this year.

Among all the woes, Zimbabwe’s Beloved Biza and Precious Marange were the only bright spots for the visitors in the first ODI. Marange bagged three quick wickets to put Pakistan in a spot of bother, though the dominance couldn’t last long. Biza top-scored with a 53 off 53 balls and resisted Pakistan bowlers’ onslaught for a long while.

A win in this game would give an unassailable lead to the hosts, getting them their first series win since they defeated Ireland 3-0 in November 2022.

Head-to-Head Record:

The two teams have now faced each other twice in ODIs, with Pakistan Women winning on both instances.
