[ Poll: vwGzm0Z3 ]

Teams are starting to announce their squads for the Asia Cup 2025. India has named a 15-member team for the big tournament. The event will take place in the UAE from September 9 to 28, with eight teams fighting for the title. India and Pakistan could meet three times in the Asia Cup, with their first clash set for September 14 in Dubai.

Asian Cricket Council chief Mohsin Naqvi confirmed the dates and venue of the tournament in a social media post. The event will be hosted by the BCCI at a neutral venue. Later, the ACC released the full schedule on Saturday evening. While India, Pakistan, UAE and Oman are clubbed together in Group A, Group B will see Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Hong Kong.

The tournament will be played in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. After the preliminary clash between India and Pakistan on September 14, both the teams will take each other on against the following Sunday (September 21), unless either team fails to progress to the Super Fours.
