The Asia Cup 2025 will begin on September 9, bringing together the top cricketing nations of Asia to compete for regional glory. The tournament is famous for its fierce rivalries, making every match exciting and full of competitive spirit. Fans can look forward to thrilling performances as teams battle it out for the prestigious title.

The Asia Cup has been held since 1983, bringing together the best cricketing nations in Asia every two years to compete for the continental crown. This Asia Cup is organised by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). 

The 17th edition of the Asia Cup will have eight teams divided into two groups. From there, the top two teams in each group will move into the Super 4 stage, which will decide the finalists. The tournament will end with the big final on September 28, 2025. This year’s Asia Cup will bring together seasoned stars and rising young players, promising fans an exciting and entertaining tournament to watch.

The Asia Cup 2025 will start with Group B matches, with Afghanistan facing Hong Kong in the opening game. India will play its first match the next day, September 10, 2025, against the United Arab Emirates.
