Harbhajan Singh Advocates for Player Replacements, Citing Legends Like Sachin and Gavaskar

Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh reflected on the transition in Indian cricket from 2011 to 2013, a period marked by the retirements of icons such as Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, and VVS Laxman. He emphasized that age and fitness are important, but the pressure often falls on senior players when losses occur. Harbhajan firmly rejects the notion that certain players are irreplaceable. "Who says replacements aren't possible? Gavaskar left, Tendulkar came, and now we have Kohli. The game evolves, and there will always be new talents," he stated. He believes that India's domestic circuit is brimming with potential, having produced stars like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
