Former England skipper Joe Root is currently at the top of the list of players with the most hundreds in international cricket. Joe Root, in fact, with his first test century in Australia, achieved a large milestone. It was his 40th test century. Only three other batsmen have 40+ test centuries. Following Joe Root in the list is Steve Smith with 37 test tons, followed closely by Kane Williamson with 33 test centuries and then Usman Khawaja with 16.
