Gajanand Singh’s Bio

Gajanand Singh is a left-handed middle-order batsman who represented the Windies in the 2006 U-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka. He made his first-class debut for Guyana two years later, but has struggled to make an impression, averaging just 25 runs in his ten first-
class matches. Despite this underwhelming start to his domestic career, the Guyana Amazon Warriors signed Gajanand for the 2017 CPL season, which came as a surprise. However, he again failed to live up to expectations and soon lost his place on the team. Gajanand’s most
notable performance came against the Trinbago Knight Riders when he scored a quick-fire 39 to help his team post a decent total of 159. He remains part of the Guyana Amazon Warriors’ 2018 squad but is yet to feature in a match.
