WPL 2026 Points Table Update: RCB Women Dominate UP Warriorz, Stay on Top

Royal Challengers Bengaluru continued their strong start to the season by beating UP Warriorz by 9 wickets. It was their second win in two matches. RCB first put in an excellent bowling performance and then chased the target easily, thanks to a big opening partnership between Grace Harris and Smriti Mandhana. They finished the match with 47 balls remaining.

Mandhana called it right at the toss and elected to bowl. UP Warriorz pushed Harleen Deol at the top of the order but some tight bowling performances dismantled the top and middle order. An unbeaten 93-run stand between Deepti Sharma (45*) and Deandra Dottin (40*) helped UPW register 143/5 in their 20 overs, Nadine de Klerk was the star with the ball claiming 2/28. Lauren Bell (1/16) and Arundhati Reddy (0/18) bowled magnificent spells to contain the scoring.

Harris–Mandhana Power Show Takes RCB to Second Straight Win

Grace Harris and Smriti Mandhana looked impossible to stop since ball one. Harris smashed 10 fours and 5 sixes to register 85 runs in 40 deliveries adding 137 for the first wicket with Mandhana the highest ever for RCB in WPL.

Mandhana having the best seat in the house watching Harris's carnage did not hold back and struck 9 fours to remain unbeaten on 47 in 32 deliveries. It was Shikha Pandey who broke the stand with just 7 runs needed to win in 74 balls.

Richa Ghosh was promoted at number 3 and scored 4 off 2 balls. Earlier in the innings Deandra Dottin conceded 32 runs in the only over she delivered - the sixth of the innings conceding 3 fours and as many sixes with a no ball as Harris smashed 30 runs with the blade in the same over.

With 2 wins in 2 games, RCB has now reached the top of the points table. Gujarat Giants also have 4 points to their name but a superior net run rate will keep RCB on the top of the table at least until tomorrow before Mumbai Indians (2 points) take on the Gujarat Giants on the same ground.
