Retirement
- Announcement: August 24, 2024
- Reason for Retirement: Dhawan stated he no longer had the "inspiration" to play domestic cricket and felt he was only playing enough to keep up with IPL seasons, which wasn't enough to stay in contention for a national call-up.
- Current activities: He has retired from international and domestic cricket but has joined the Legends League Cricket for retired cricketers and also the Nepal Premier League.

- Scored over 10,000 runs in international cricket.
- One of only eight male batters in history to score over 5,000 ODI runs with a 40+ average and 90+ strike rate.
- Scored a century in his 100th ODI, becoming the first Indian to do so.
