The Women’s Premier League (WPL) is all set for its first big player auction, and the excitement couldn’t be higher. Even though teams have kept some players, most of their squads will be built again from the beginning. With so many famous cricketers in the auction pool, all five teams will be looking to make themselves stronger.

The auction will take place on November 27, 2025, in New Delhi, starting at 3:30 PM IST. This will be a major step toward forming teams for the new season starting in January. A total of 277 players have signed up, and since each team has a different amount of money left, it will be interesting to see if anyone crosses the ₹3 crore mark.
