WPL 2025

The third season of the Women's Premier League has witnessed some exciting performances over the last two weeks. As the league continues with spectacular performances, let's dive into the top 3 batting performances in the WPL 2025.

The top three performances include two from the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and one from a Mumbai Indians batter.

Ellyse Perry (90* vs UP Warriorz)

Royal challengers Bengaluru Star all-rounder Ellyse Perry played the best knock of the WPL 2025. Perry, who was the orange cap winner last season, has performed well this season, too and is currently the highest run scorer for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. In match number 9 against UP Warriorz, RCB, while batting first, scored 180 runs, out of which 90 runs were of Ellyse Perry, in his unbeaten innings, she hit nine boundaries and three sixes at an outstanding strike rate of 160.71.

Smriti Mandhana (81 vs Delhi Capitals)

RCB’s skipper Smriti Mandhana played an outstanding knock in match no. 4 against Delhi Capitals. Delhi Capitals, batting first, were all out for just 141 runs. RCB, while chasing the target, started off aggressively, scoring over 100 runs in the first ten overs. Smriti Mandhana, in her 81 off 47, hit 10 boundaries and three sixes with an impressive strike rate of 172.34. Along with scoring a half-century, Mandhana and Danni Wyatt contributed to the first 100-run partnership of the season.

Nat Sciver-Brunt (75 vs UP Warriorz)

The third-best inning of the match for the WPL 2025 was played by current Orange Cap holder Nat Sciver-Brunt. Natalie has performed beautifully so far this season and is leading the Orange Cap at the time of writing this article. In match number 11, the Mumbai Indians were facing UP Warriorz. UP, while batting first, had scored 142 runs while chasing the target. Mumbai started slowly, with just six runs in the first three overs and also lost the wicket of Yashtika Bhatia in the fourth over. After that, Sciver and Matthews contributed to a match-winning partnership of 133 runs. In her innings of 75 runs off 44 balls, Sciver hit 13 boundaries with a strike rate of 170.45.
