World Pickleball League: Teams, Squads, and Where to Watch

The WPBL will launch its first season in India from January 24 to February 2, 2025. The six teams are Mumbai Pickle Power, Hyderabad Superstars, Pune United, Chennai Superchamps, Dilli Dilwale, and Bengaluru Jawans. Rishabh Pant, the dashing wicketkeeper-batter is co-owning Mumbai Pickle Power, his entry into India's first franchise-based pickleball league that is rapidly gaining popularity around the world.

Talking about his enthusiasm, Pant said, "Pickleball is a very exciting sport, and I love it. I wanted to be involved in the World Pickleball League to help promote and grow the game."

Pickleball is gaining momentum rapidly in India, especially in Bengaluru, Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, and Hyderabad, and many academies are emerging to train enthusiasts. The WPBL is poised to create a big impact on India's sports landscape in the year 2025. The stage is set for an unforgettable season with all the matches being played at the prestigious Brabourne Stadium (CCI) in Mumbai.
