Updated WTC 2025-27 points table after Bangladesh defeat Pakistan in Mirpur Test

Updated WTC 2025-27 points table after Bangladesh defeat Pakistan in Mirpur TestBangladesh got off the mark with a win over Pakistan in the Mirpur Test, which helped them climb up to the sixth spot in the World Test Championship (WTC) points table. This is their first win in this WTC cycle, having lost and drawn the previous two against Sri Lanka. Additionally, Bangladesh also scripted their first home Test win against Pakistan, continuing their winning streak, that began with a 2-0 whitewash in Pakistan, against them alive.

Things couldn’t have taken a worse turn for the visitors. Not only did they lose the game but also stifled the chances of batting out the Test into a draw. That, of course, hit their rankings hard. They have slipped down to the seventh place, below Bangladesh. This was their second loss in three games in the WTC so far.
