This happened after DREAM11 ended its deal with the BCCI. With the Asia Cup 2025 just a few weeks away, Team India still doesn’t have a jersey sponsor because of the new ‘Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill, 2025,’ which has banned money-based gaming apps.

DREAM11 signed a big ₹358 crore deal with BCCI in 2023, which was meant to last longer. But after the government banned money-based online games, saying they caused money loss and stress for people, the deal ended early. Now, BCCI is searching for a new sponsor for Team India’s jersey.
