1. Jamie Smith

While he’s done even better in longer formats, he’s definitely making his mark having also debuted in ODIs and T20Is this year. In the recent Test series, he impressed with two fifties, a hundred and two scores over forty in 10 innings.

The IPL has made changes to its auction rules, meaning Jamie Smith won’t be able to join the 2026 season. To be eligible for the mini auction in 2026 players had to register for the 2025 mega auction. This new rule was put in place because some overseas players skipped the mega auction in the past hoping to get bigger bids later in the mini auction when teams are more desperate for certain players.
