When the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 fixtures came out, Group A seemed easy. India, as the host nation and a powerful T20 side, were expected to qualify for the next round along with Pakistan.

However, things have not gone according to plan. Teams like USA, Netherlands, and Namibia have performed well at times, making the group quite interesting. India and Pakistan have both won their first two matches. They will now face each other on Sunday in Colombo. The winner of this match will move on to the Super 8s. The other team will have to win all their remaining matches.

India Founded: 1926

The India National Cricket Team represents India in international cricket and is one of the strongest teams in the world.

Pakistan Founded: 1952

The Pakistan cricket team is known for producing some of the most fearsome fast bowlers in world cricket.
