T20 World Cup 2026: India and Pakistan in the Same Group, Venues Announced

India and Pakistan are in the same group again in the T20 World Cup 2026. The next T20 World Cup will be hosted by India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8, 2026. Both teams will be in the same group, which looks easy for them to go through based on rankings.
The ICC has created four groups of five teams each. Only the top two teams from every group will move to the Super Eight, and then to the semifinals and final.
Venues and Knockout Stage
India’s matches will be played in Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi, and Ahmedabad. Sri Lanka will host matches in Colombo and Kandy. The final is planned in Ahmedabad, but if Pakistan reach the final, then Colombo may host one semifinal and the final.
Mumbai and Kolkata are also being considered for the other semifinal. The ICC is expected to announce the full schedule on November 25 in Mumbai.
