Pandey's Performance in WBBL
In the WBBL, Pandey was a major player for the Brisbane Heat since she excelled at bowling upfront. She picked 12 wickets in 12 games, which was very important in keeping the team in second place in the points table, with an economy rate under seven;
This performance put her as the runner-in taking the most wickets for her team Brisbane Heat. Earlier this year, she played for Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) in the Women's Caribbean Premier League (WCPL).
In her career, Pandey has played in 55 one-day internationals and has taken 75 wickets. Then, moving on to her T20 international record, she has clearly demonstrated her ability by taking an impressive 43 wickets in just 62 games. And, she's managed to do this while only giving 6.49 runs per over.
Pandey's Last Appearance for India at the 2023 T20 World Cup
But, during the T20 World Cup 2023 in South Africa, she got a chance to play in only three matches and managed to take three wickets, which was good, but it turned out to be her last representation for India. After that tournament, the decision-makers for the Indian cricket team chose to bring in new and young fast bowlers, causing Pandey to miss out on playing in the T20 format from then.
