Shakib Al Hasan Suspended from Bowling by ECB After Illegal Action Test Results
Shakib Al Hasan amazed everyone by getting nine wickets in a County Championship game for Surrey despite not playing county cricket for over ten years but then, everything changed in a strange way because the umpires noticed Shakib's bowling was off in that game, and it was the first time anyone pointed it out. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) didn't let Shakib bowl in County Championship games anymore; they said his style of bowling was not allowed because it broke the official cricket rules this all happened after experts from Loughborough University took a close look and found out his manner of bowling was against the rules. Even though Shakib made a strong comeback in cricket, the problems with how he bowled got more attention than his major achievement.
Shakib Faces a Challenge to Clear His Name
Shakib got a ban because on December 10, the cricket leaders, which is the group that controls cricket in England, understood some test results from Loughborough University. They said the rules say your bowling elbow should not bend more than 15 degrees. This is just the latest problematic issue for him. If he wants to get rid of the ban, he must pass some more tests on his own. Until his elbow keeps to the rules, he's stuck with the ban.
Suddenly, Shakib Al Hasan found himself significantly deep in a strikingly large political mess that had zero to do with cricket. Before this, Shakib was noticeably focused on playing cricket but then he's also working as a Member of Parliament for the Awami League in Bangladesh. Specifically in this situation, it's clear it wasn't easy for him at all.
The Big Question: Will Shakib Return to the Field
While all the problems mentioned were happening, Shakib said he was out of the game for T20 internationals and skipped his last Test match in Mirpur in October. Shakib chose not to return to Bangladesh and stayed in the United States with his family. This decision caused a lot of confusion in people's minds some were on his side but not everyone liked it, making the situation even more complicated. Since stepping from international cricket, the major question on everyone's mind now is whether he's ever going to play on the field again or not.
