Security breach at Arun Jaitley Stadium as three fans rush towards Virat Kohli
In the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi cricket fans breached security a second time during the match against Railways. It happened on Day 3 when Delhi was lead 133 runs. Three fans ran to the pitch to touch Kohli's feet. The security came and took them out. The incident raised serious worries about crowd management at the stadium.
It is the second breach of security, on Day 1 during the match a fan ran into the pitch to meet Kohli and security took him out. The hype about Kohli’s return to the Ranji Trophy after 12 years has been creating security issues. Before the match, fans rushed to get into the stadium with many injuries. At the stadium outside, injured fans were treated by the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) security and local police. One fan got a leg injury, and a security guard was also injured while trying to control the crowd.

First DDCA planned to open only two stands of the stadium. But overcrowded, so the DDCA opened a third stand also. Fans came to watch the Virat Kohli batting. But, Kohli didn't play well in the first inning scoring only six runs and dismissed by Railways pacer Himanshu Sangwan.
The DDCA needs to take care of spectators, players, and officials. The security management should be careful about fans entering the pitch. Young fans and adults are eagerly waiting to see Kohli batting in the second inning. But Delhi won by an inning.
