Sanju Samson's Father Slams KCA for Alleged Conspiracy After Vijay Hazare Trophy Omission

Sanju Samson's Father Slams KCA for Alleged Conspiracy After Vijay Hazare Trophy OmissionThe star Indian opener batter Sanju Samson's father Viswanath has criticized the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA), accusing them of conspiring against his son Sanju Samson. This happened after the Sanju Samsom was dropped from the Kerala squad for the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

The decision to drop Sanju Samson from the VHT is because Samson was absent from a mandatory practice camp. Jayesh George the president of KCA has blamed Samson for this issue and stated that Samson skipped the practice camp and informed them with just one line text message.

During the interview with the Sports Tak Viswanath shared his thoughts about his son Sanju Samson. Viswanath is deeply upset with both the decision and the remarks made by the KCA president. Viswant believes that the KCA association is trying to harm his son Sanju Samson. And also he expressed concern that KCA might use this son as a scapegoat for any problems.

"I knew about six months ago that they are planning something against Sanju. KCA were plotting things in a way that he leaves Kerala. We can't fight with them. There are directors there, we are small people. You can't talk back to them, you can't challenge them. My child is not safe here. They will put the blame on Sanju for everything and people will believe them too. So, I really want that my son stops playing cricket for Kerala. If any state wants to give my son a chance, saying 'Sanju, come and play for us', I am willing to make that appeal"  - Viswanath said

Sanju's father also urged that the other state associations also be ready to give him a chance to play for their team. Viswanath said Sanju is just one individual standing up against a strong influential organization. He fears that the KCA could come up with more accusations against Sanju in the future and also he doesn't want his son to play for Kerala again.

"Sanju is only an individual, whereas the KCA is a big, powerful association. I am afraid they'll come up with conspiracy theories against my son. I don't know why they are after us. We didn't do anything wrong to them or anyone else for that matter. Sanju, in his life, has never enjoyed anything else apart from cricket. Except for cricket ground and practice, he has focused on nothing else. He has devoted 30 years of his life to cricket, but he is being isolated now. I have had enough; want to get him out of this association (KCA). " - Viswanath said to Sportstak.

However, Sanju was selected for the T20I squad for India against England. On January 22 in the first T20I against England at Eden Gardens Sanson scored 22 runs in just one over against Gus Atkinson before getting out for 26 runs. India won the toss and chose to bowl against England and team India bowled out England for just 133 runs. India chased down the target comfortably with 7 wickets in hand. The second match will be played on January 25 at Chapuak Stadium in Chennai.
