Ravindra Jadeja, who has since joined the squad for the first time after several years stated that he hopes his presence will help to develop the younger players, to take responsibility, and ultimately, to assist the team in achieving success. Young player Vaibhav Suryavanshi was also quoted during this ceremony, stating that he remains "calm, cool and collected," and focused on his own performance level. After scoring 175 runs during the U-19 World Cup Final, he made sure to convey how proud this accomplishment made him.

Over the years the Rajasthan Royals have worn many different team colors. Initially the team had blue and gold jersey, then switched to pink-colored jersey because their home city is located in the Pink City of Jaipur.
