Pakistan vs South Africa 2025: Full Schedule, Venues and Match Details Announced

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that South Africa will tour Pakistan from October 12. The tour includes two Test matches, along with three ODIs and three T20Is. This series will also mark the beginning of Pakistan’s World Test Championship campaign under Shan Masood’s leadership. In the last WTC cycle (2023-25), Pakistan had a tough run winning only 5 of their 14 Tests and finishing at the bottom of the table.

Pakistan will start their new ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 journey on October 12. The current champions will visit for two Test matches. The first match will be played in Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium from October 12 to 16 and the second will be in Rawalpindi from October 20 to 24.

South Africa will play their first Test series in Pakistan since January 2021, when they lost 2-0 to the hosts. After the Tests, the two teams will face off in three T20Is from October 28 to November 1 with the opener in Rawalpindi and the next two in Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium. The tour will end with a three-match ODI series from November 4 to 8 at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad marking the city’s return to international cricket after 16 years last hosting a game in April 2008 when Pakistan beat Bangladesh by seven wickets.
