PAK vs NZ 4th T20I Highlights: New Zealand Seals Series with Dominant 115-Run Win Over Pakistan

PAK vs NZ 4th T20I Highlights: New Zealand Seals Series with Dominant 115-Run Win Over PakistanNew Zealand dominated Pakistan by 115 runs to secure the T20I series with one match remaining on Sunday (March 23) in Mount Maunganui. Finn Allen's explosive fifty and rapid 40s from Tim Seifert and captain Michael Bracewell powered New Zealand to a formidable 220 on the board. In response, Jacob Duffy and Zakary Foulkes ran riot to dismantle Pakistan for a just 105 runs.

After being put in to bat first, Tim Seifert and Finn Allen got off to a blazing start, propelling the Kiwis to 59 runs within just four overs before the former departed after a brisk 44 off 22 balls. Mark Chapman then joined the other opener and built a brief partnership.

Finn Allen tore into the bowling attack, hammering a blistering 50 off just 20 balls before his dismissal. Daryl Mitchell and Mark Chapman chipped in with vital cameos, but it was skipper Michael Bracewell who provided the late fireworks, smashing an unbeaten 46 off 26 balls to power his team to a commanding total of 220.

Pakistan’s Batting Collapse Ends in a Crushing Defeat

In response, Jacob Duffy and William O'Rourke wreaked havoc with the new ball, dismantling the top order in no time. Duffy single-handedly ripped through the top order, while Zakary Foulkes took charge in the middle overs ensuring no Pakistan batter could put up a fight. Pakistan crumbled for a mere 105 runs, handing the Kiwis a thumping 115-run victory.

Pakistan’s chase started poorly as Mohammad Haris was bowled by Will O'Rourke for just two runs in the first over. Things got worse when Jacob Duffy dismissed Hasan Nawaz and captain Salman Ali Agha in the next over, leaving Pakistan struggling at 9-3. Shadab Khan fell soon after, and despite a brief fight from Irfan Khan Niazi, who scored 24 off 16 balls, Pakistan kept losing wickets. Duffy and Zakary Foulkes tore through the middle order, with Pakistan crumbling to 56-8 in 10 overs. Duffy claimed his fourth wicket by removing Haris Rauf, and despite a late effort from Abdul Samad, Pakistan was bowled out for just 105 runs.
