No New Additions for India's Squad Ahead of 3rd Test Against New Zealand

No New Additions for India's Squad Ahead of 3rd Test Against New Zealand

India's cricket team will not be adding any players to their squad for the upcoming third Test against New Zealand. There are no plans to rest pacer Jasprit Bumrah, despite New Zealand already securing a 2-0 lead in the series. Speculations arose that Harshit Rana might be called up to train with the team, similar to Washington Sundar's addition before the second Test. However, assistant coach Abhishek Nayar confirmed that the squad remains unchanged. While Bumrah has a history of injuries, Nayar emphasized that the seasoned bowler has not overexerted himself in the two Tests, which ended early, providing him ample recovery time before the crucial Australia series in November.
