KL Rahul Gears Up for Ranji Trophy Clash; Return Date Confirmed

KL Rahul is a top-rate cricket player from Karnataka. Rahul's unfathomably excited to play a game in the Ranji Trophy. The match is on January 30, and he will play against the Haryana team. They will play at the famous M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, which is familiar to him. KL Rahul injured his elbow before, but now he's better and ready to play. Rahul is going to play for the Karnataka team and Mayank Agarwal is the captain of the team. 

The BCCI in India, says that Indian cricket players have to play in our country's games so they can stay ready and good for games with other countries. If a player truly needs to not play here, the heads and selectors might say but that doesn't happen a lot. The BCCI wants to make sure all players keep playing lots so they are always great at cricket.

KL Rahul Selected for Champions Trophy Squad

Rahul, who is proficient at cricket, got selected to play on India's team for the Champions Trophy. He's going to play against England in the ODI series that starts on February 6. But there's more - he also gets to play in the ICC Champions Trophy, which starts on February 19.

Today, in the Ranji Trophy cricket games, some senior players are there. Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal from Mumbai are playing in a match against the team from Jammu and Kashmir. Shubman Gill is playing for Punjab when they play against Karnataka. And Rishabh Pant, he's playing for Delhi while they play against Saurashtra.

Virat Kohli is injured and can't play with his Delhi team in the Ranji Trophy. Kohli injured his neck in the last Test match when they were playing for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The doctors had to work on improving his neck condition. KL Rahul's last match, before playing for his country, was in the Duleep Trophy this year. Rahul scored 94 runs in 2 innings and an average of 47.00.
