IPL Chairman Arun Dhumal Makes Big Statement on Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s ODI Future

IPL Chairman Arun Dhumal expressed confidence in Team India’s depth of talent and mentioned the new 14-year-old development of Vaibhav Suryavanshi. He also praised Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, calling them legends who are hungry to continue and also appear to be far from completion in ODI cricket. Dhumal said Rohit’s recent batting display against Australia demonstrated his quality.
After playing two tricky games, Rohit again bounced back in style, scoring an unbeaten 121* in India’s chase of 237 in the third ODI with Kohli scoring a solid 74*. "People say they are going, and they are not. "Rohit and Virat are here for the long run," he told the media. He stated both players have done everything for Indian cricket and continue to lead by example in their work and discipline.

Rohit’s series was a determination story going from struggling with very low scores in Perth to fighthing for a signal 73 in Adelaide to match-winning hundred in Sydney. The "Hitman" reminded everybody that he still has his sights on the World Cup in 2027 and will be ready for the challenge whenever presented. After the series ended Rohit achieved new heights, becoming the No. 1 One Day batter in the ICC format ranking for the first time in his career.
