IPL 2026 points table update after SRH’s tight bowling spell secures a win against CSK
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in a close game, by 10 runs, at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. SRH made 194 runs batting first. Abhishek Sharma had an excellent innings in which he scored 59 runs in only 22 balls. Heinrich Klaasen scored a consistent 59 runs.
CSK started strong and seemed set for victory. However, Ayush Mhatre contributed quickly in terms of runs scored. CSK ended with a total of 184/8. SRH bowlers were composed towards the end of the match.
Malinga took three wickets for SRH and bowled excellently. Nitish Kumar Reddy picked up two crucial wickets for SRH. With this result, SRH enters the top four positions. On the other hand, CSK remains in the bottom half of the table.
