IPL 2026 Coaching Staff: Full List of All 10 Teams, Salaries & Latest Updates

The 2026 IPL season is all set to begin on 15 March 2026 and will run until 31 May 2026 spanning nearly 77 days with around 70–84 matches including playoffs. As teams prepare for another action-packed edition, they are also fine-tuning their coaching staff plays a vital role in planning, player development and on-field strategies. From head coaches to batting, bowling and fielding specialists every franchise relies on a strong backroom team. The pre-tournament trade window opened on 10 June 2025, just a week after IPL 2025 ended and will close a week before the upcoming mini-auction, which is expected to take place in January–February 2026 though the official date is yet to be confirmed.

IPL 2026: All 10 Teams Coaching Staff List

1. Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

Note: CSK also has other support staff (physio, trainer etc.) not listed here. CSK legend Suresh Raina has hinted he might join as batting coach in 2026 , but this has not been confirmed.

2. Delhi Capitals (DC)

Note:  DC’s head coach Hemang Badani and his staff were announced for 2025 and are expected to continue into 2026.

3. Gujarat Titans (GT)

Note: GT’s coaching structure remains largely unchanged from 2025, with Nehra leading the staff.

4. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

Note: As of Aug 2025 KKR’s head coach Chandrakant Pandit has stepped down and bowling coach Bharat Arun has also parted ways. The team is searching for new appointments.

5. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG)

Note: LSG have confirmed Bharat Arun as their new bowling coach for 2026 . They also plan to bring in Carl Crowe as a spin consultant.

6. Mumbai Indians (MI)

Note: MI’s support staff remains the same as 2025, led by head coach Mahela Jayawardene.

7. Punjab Kings (PBKS)

Note: PBKS maintains Ricky Ponting’s coaching team from 2025 into 2026.

8. Rajasthan Royals (RR)

Note: RR’s head coach Rahul Dravid and support staff remain in place . Vikram Rathour is the batting coach.

9. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)

Note: RCB’s 2025 coaching set-up continues, with Andy Flower as head coach and Dinesh Karthik as batting coach and mentor.

10. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)

Note: SRH’s coaching staff also stays the same, under head coach Daniel Vettori.

Recent Coaching Updates (as of Aug 2025)

• KKR Coaching Shuffle: Kolkata Knight Riders parted ways with their IPL-winning head coach Chandrakant Pandit after the 2025 season . Reports also indicate veteran coach Bharat Arun left KKR at the same time .

• Bharat Arun to LSG: After leaving KKR, Bharat Arun has been appointed as Lucknow Super Giants’ new bowling coach for 2026 .

• LSG Adds Spin Consultant: Lucknow is also set to bring in Carl Crowe (formerly of KKR) as a spin bowling consultant for the next season .

• CSK Rumors: There was buzz that former CSK star Suresh Raina might join Chennai’s staff as batting coach in 2026 . (This was fueled by Raina’s hint, but CSK has not confirmed any such move.)
