On a humid Chennai evening, RCB initially posted an imposing 196/7 before decisively defending it by restricting CSK to 146/8 in 20 overs. From an early top-order collapse in the powerplay to consistently keeping CSK from gaining momentum, RCB maintained control with the ball throughout the chase.

Captain Rajat Patidar led from the front with a brilliant half-century (51 off 32). Noor Ahmad continued his stellar form for CSK, claiming 3/36 in four overs and donning the purple cap for leading the wicket charts this season. CSK fell short by 50 runs, finishing their innings at 146/8 in 20 overs.
