IPL 2025 Points Table: Team Rankings After MI vs RR Match

Hardik Pandya’s Mumbai Indians (MI) put on a dominant show to beat Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 100 runs and climb to the top of the points table. With this win, MI leapfrogged Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), thanks to a better net run rate. The five-time champions now have seven wins in 11 matches and a strong NRR of +1.274. This marks the third time in IPL history that MI have stitched together a six-match winning streak a clear sign of their red-hot form this season.

RCB have had a solid run this season, winning 7 out of their 10 games. But after Mumbai Indians’ massive 100-run win over Rajasthan Royals, RCB dropped to second place because of a lower net run rate.Punjab Kings are in third place, while Gujarat Titans are holding on to fourth. With the playoffs getting closer, every match is becoming more important.

It’s been a rough season for Rajasthan Royals, and after their loss to Mumbai Indians they’re officially out of the playoff race. With eight defeats in 11 games, they sit in 8th place but still have three matches left against KKR, CSK and PBKS to try and finish on a high.
