India Tour of Bangladesh 2026 Confirmed: 3 ODIs & 5 T20Is Scheduled for 1–13 September

The Bangladesh Cricket Board recently confirmed the new schedule of the ODI and T20I matches that will be played against India in September 2026. Earlier, the tour is scheduled to happen in August 2025, but it got postponed by a span of 12 months because of the tension on the borders of the two countries. The series of ODI and T20I matches will start from 1st September and will end on 13th September.

India Postponed Bangladesh Tour 2026 Dates Revealed

According to Cricbuzz, BCB's cricket operations manager Shahriar Nafees has confirmed the series has been rescheduled. The ODIs are now scheduled for September 1, 3, and 6, and the T20Is for September 9 to 13. In this respect, it is also reported that the Indian team will arrive in Bangladesh on August 28.

“The series, which was postponed earlier between Bangladesh and India, has been rescheduled,” said Shahriar Nafees. Apart from the series against India, the schedule of the other series that Bangladesh will have in 2026 has also been released.

Pakistan’s matches after the T20 World Cup in the month of March and April are against Bangladesh, where they will face 2 Tests, 3 ODIs 7 T20Is. Then they will play against the New Zealand team, which will tour the country for 3 ODIs & T20Is in April, followed by the Australia team. The next series at home for BAN is against WI, where they will face 2 Tests in September.

“The confirmed schedule will mean a full season of international cricket for Bangladesh this season, bringing the opportunity for fans to watch top-level cricket at home, although the match details will be confirmed later,” ICC said in a statement.
