After a disappointing performance on its tour of India, England will be looking to win the last match of the ODI series, ending the tour on a high note. In the last three weeks, England has disappointed its fans by losing the five-match T20I series 4-1 and also losing the ODI series after falling to defeat in the second match in Cuttack. Although England's batting performed well in the second match with scores from Joe Root and other batters, questions have been raised about England's Bazz-ball approach, which has cost the team two series.

This will be the last game for England before the Champions Trophy, and they will be looking to secure a victory to start fresh in the Champions Trophy. England has yet to win its first Champions Trophy title. The ICC Champions Trophy 2025, returning after 8 years, will start on 19th February the match between New Zealand and Pakistan, and will be played until March 9.
