The 2026 ICC T20 World Cup will be held in two parts. Each team effectively wants to finish in the top two of its group in order to advance to the knockout phase. This tournament will be the 10th edition of the ICC T20 World Cup and will take place in India/Sri Lanka with 20 teams broken into four (4) groups; as such, every game will count and an upset can happen at any time.
