ICC Latest Rankings: Abhishek Sharma Retains No.1 Spot Despite Poor Form, Ishan Kishan Enters Top 5

India opener Abhishek Sharma has maintained his position at the top of the ICC Men’s T20I batting rankings. This comes despite his poor performance in the ongoing T20 World Cup. The rankings have been released by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Ishan Kishan has made a significant entry in the rankings. The wicketkeeper-batter has moved three places to enter the top five after his impressive performances in the recent matches. South Africa batter Dewald Brevis has moved 10 places to ninth. Afghanistan’s Ibrahim Zadran has moved to 13th position. West Indies captain Shai Hope has reached the 14th position, while England captain Harry Brook has moved to 18th.

from the all-rounders list, Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza again in the top of the list after his country qualified for the Super Eights. He edged Pakistan’s Saim Ayub to the second position. Shivam Dube of India moved to the seventh position, while Mohammad Nabi of Afghanistan moved to the eighth position.

In the list of bowlers, India’s Varun Chakravarthy in the first position after his expensive match. South Africa’s Corbin Bosch moved 21 places to the third position after his brilliant show.

West Indies’ Matthew Forde moved to the seventh position. India’s Jasprit Bumrah moved to the eighth position. Marco Jansen, Gudakesh Motie, and Liam Dawson were some of the players who moved up in the list.
