ECL Season 3: Why Elvish Yadav’s Ex-Team Member Rajat Dalal Was Kicked Out

ECL Season 3: Why Elvish Yadav’s Ex-Team Member Rajat Dalal Was Kicked Out

The Entertainers Cricket League (ECL) 2025 has been making headlines, but not for a good reason. Popular player Rajat Dalal has been kicked out of ECL Season 3 for breaking league rules. The decision came after he played in another celebrity league without getting the required permission from the ECL team.

Why Was Rajat Dalal Fired from ECL?

On Friday, August 1, the ECL Governing Council released a statement on social media confirming that Rajat Dalal, who was set to play for Lucknow Lions, has been removed from the tournament with immediate effect.

The official statement said:

“Mr. Rajat Dalal, captain and registered player of Lucknow Lions, has been terminated from Entertainers Cricket League Season 3 due to a confirmed breach of contract. He participated in another league without getting the mandatory No Objection Certificate (NOC) from us. ECL follows a strict no-tolerance policy against such actions and will continue to maintain professionalism and integrity.”

What Did Rajat Dalal Do?

Rajat was originally a part of the Haryanvi Hunters, led by YouTuber Elvish Yadav. During the ECL 2025 Auction on June 15 in Delhi, he was picked by Lucknow Lions. Everything seemed fine until the organisers learned that he was also playing in GCL (Great Cricket League), which is a similar celebrity cricket tournament.

According to a source close to the matter, Rajat was seen representing Haryana Hurricanes in GCL without informing the ECL team or taking permission. This violation of contract terms led to his termination.

A reliable source told Filmibeat’s Chief Copy Editor Abhishek Ranjit:

“The ECL team decided to remove Rajat after they found out he was playing in GCL without taking an NOC. This was a clear breach of contract.”

Who Else is in GCL 2025?

Other celebrities reportedly playing in the Great Cricket League 2025 include: Asim Riaz, Dinesh Lal Yadav aka Nirahua, Shalin Bhanot, Manish Jain, Anurag Dobhal, Rohit Zinjurke.

Rajat Dalal’s exit from ECL Season 3 shows that the league is serious about its rules. Playing in another tournament without informing the organisers has cost him his place in one of the most talked-about celebrity leagues of 2025.
