Who will be the captain of KKR?

With Shreyas Iyer no longer in the team, KKR has signed several star players who could take on the captain's role. However, the franchise has yet to reveal who will lead the team.

According to reports, Venkatesh Iyer and Ajinkya Rahane are the two main contenders for the role. Rahane has previous experience leading in the IPL and is also the current captain of Mumbai in domestic cricket. With the season approaching fast, an official announcement on this is expected soon.

Defending champions KKR will kick off the season with a match against RCB at their home ground, Eden Gardens. KKR won both their games against RCB last season and will aim to repeat that success this time.
