Champions Trophy 2025: India and Pakistan to Clash on February 23, Reports Confirm
Next year, the ICC Champions Trophy is coming back and everyone is excited about it. It's going to be in Pakistan and they're doing something different now with a hybrid format; this was a hard choice the International Cricket Council (ICC) had to make regarding the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Since 2017, we haven't had the tournament, so it's of significant consequence. Also, we are going to watch India and Pakistan compete against each other again and their matches are always extremely intense.
Cricket Pakistan says that everyone who needs to agree, including the BCCI and PCB have decided: "Dubai will be the location where India and Pakistan play their important game on February 23. It looks like Dubai will have at least five matches, and that includes all of India's games in the group stage; They will likely have one of the semi-finals and the final there".

Even though we're still waiting for the ICC to release the full plan for the tournament, there's a lot of chatter that India and Pakistan are going to play against each other on February 23, 2025. At first, Pakistan was supposed to host the entire process--but then the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) expressed concern regarding safety and decided not to let the Indian team go there.
Because the BCCI wants things a certain way, the tournament is going to take place in a different mix of ways; the teams are playing their games in either the UAE or Sri Lanka. Even though people thought Sri Lanka was a good choice because they did a great job with the Asia Cup in 2023, it looks like they won't be able to hold the Champions Trophy in 2025.
According to what people are saying," the major competition starts on February 19"; they are going to hold the semi-finals on March 4 and 5; then, they will finish everything with the final on March 9; the team from India, with Rohit Sharma as their captain is joining the games on February 20; they're facing Bangladesh first. After that everyone is very excited about there game against Pakistan on February 23, they'll also play New Zealand on March 2.
