Bihar Prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi Becomes IPL's Youngest Star at 13

Suryavanshi's cricketing prowess has been evident from a young age, having already represented India Under-19. Notably, he scored a scintillating century as an opener against Australia Under-19 in a four-day match held in Chennai just two months prior to his IPL signing. His explosive knock, reaching the century mark in just 58 balls, caught the eyes of IPL scouts.

The IPL auction saw a fierce bidding war for Suryavanshi, with his base price set at INR 30 lakh. Hailing from Samastipur, a city approximately 100 kilometers northeast of Patna, Suryavanshi has already made his mark in domestic cricket. He has participated in five Ranji Trophy matches since making his first-class debut against Mumbai earlier this year. Currently, he is showcasing his skills in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, having made his T20 debut for Bihar against Rajasthan on November 23.
