Bangladesh Retains Same Squad for T20I Series Against Pakistan in 2025

Bangladesh's national cricket team has announced its lineup for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Pakistan, and it's the same group of players that recently secured a thrilling 2-1 victory over Sri Lanka in an away series. Litton Das will once again lead the team, hoping to replicate their recent success on home soil. The series will take place at the Shere Bangla Stadium in Dhaka on July 20, 22, and 24. The Pakistani squad has already arrived in Dhaka, ready for the challenge. 

The Bangladeshi batting lineup is in top form, with Tanzid Hasan, Litton Das, Towhid Hridoy, and Shamim Hossain all making significant contributions in the series against Sri Lanka. The team staged a remarkable comeback, winning the last two games after being down 0-1. Off-spinner Mahedi Hasan, who took 4/11 in the final T20I against Sri Lanka, will look to continue his impressive form against a young Pakistani squad.

Historically, Pakistan has dominated in T20I encounters between the two sides, winning 19 of the 22 games played so far. The last time they met in a T20I series in Lahore earlier this year, Pakistan swept the series 3-0. Bangladesh will be hoping to turn the tide this time around.
