IPL 2025: Top 5 Indian All-Rounders To Watch This IPL Season

The Indian Premier League is all set to start once again, and this season will be more exciting than ever. All the franchises have built strong squads in the recent mega auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Today, we will talk about the top 5 Indian all-rounders (capped) who could perform well, and you should have an eye on them.

Nitish Kumar Reddy 

After his spectacular century at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in the Boxing Day test match against Australia, Nitish Reddy is now well-known to every Indian household that follows cricket. He also won the IPL 2025 emerging player award. He had a nice season with Sunrisers Hyderabad, which retained him for this IPL 2025, too, for six crores. His IPL numbers are as follows.

Venkatesh Iyer 

The rising Indian all-rounder has become the most expensive Indian all-rounder in the history of the Indian Premier League in this mega auction in Jeddah. After a massive bidding war with RCB, KKR finally bought him at the 23.75 crore mark. His price was too high due to the demand-supply gap, where Indian top-order batters were in less supply. If KKR had retained him as his 4th retention, it could have been added to the team for 14 crores, but getting him up in auction costs KKR about 10 crores more. He has been playing with KKR since 2021 and has played 51 matches so far. 

Krunal Pandya 

This year, the well-experienced all-rounder will now be seen in the RCB Jersey after the team bought him for 5.75 crore. If you guys remember, RCB had also tried to buy him in one of the auctions and even won the bid, but the Mumbai Indians used its RTM. Later, he went to Lucknow Supergiants when IPL was expanded to ten teams. He has vast experience in the IPL and will benefit Royal Challengers Bengaluru as the team needs a solid middle-order batter after Dinesh Kartik's Retirement. 

Deepak Hooda

After his debut in 2015, Hooda has played with four franchises in over 100 matches. This year, Chennai Super King bought him for 1.7 crore, which is a steal. His last two seasons were not good: He scored just 84 runs in 12 matches in 2023 and 144 runs in 11 matches in 2024. But this season's prospects are looking good, especially after his domestic performances.

Axar Patel

Axar is a prominent Indian All-Rounder. With over 150 matches under his belt, he will be closely watched this season.
